Meriweather :) there are 2 Towyns , one near where I lived is Tywyn (Cambrian coast) the other Towyn is North Wales.

lol Meri , if you follow the railtrack from Machynlleth up the coast you go Aberdovey, Tywyn, Barmouth main stns...
The other Towyn is near Abergele and it was that Towyn that had the bad floods a few years ago . (edited it was nearly 20 years ago, doesn't time fly lol)

I lived in Mach for over eight years, Rose, and there were people going around wearing T shirts saying;

Just been to Machynlleth, Still don't know how to pronounce it.

Some of the funniest pronounciations were for Pwllheli. Why am I larfing? It took me 8 years to learn Welsh.
