	Actually, I hardly read any of it nowadays. I used to spend a bit of time on here - now I pop in once or twice a day when I'm having a cuppa. It's just too dangerous! I find it safer giving no anaesthetic dental treatment to red zone pit bulls with toothache. Far less traumatic :-)

	Going to the pub is hardly going out in public, let's face it. Sandals and shorts is one of the more conservative dress modes up here. Some people still wear flares and tank tops. Local rumour has it that someone in the village went to the big city and came back with a tattoo as well. Whatever next.

	yes, it's a very romantic sort of lighting. Some people call them paraffin lamps, I think.
