Kitty ,I cooked pheasant last night for OH,have to say thankfully without the help of the mop.Never cooked it before.

While we're on the subject of culinary disasters I have to admit to once burning boiled eggs. Ooh they did stink the place out! This was many years ago mind - and nowadays I try not to cook at all if I can help it ...

Buy an old fashioned string dolly mop and mop bucket. They do pretty ones in pink now,yes thats how sad I am.

Down on your hands and knees, Shimms? Lord luv us, I'd never get up again!! Me mop's one of those where the head clips on with four fasteners, and my big boast for the day is that I have never lost one yet, and it gets to wash down the walls, too.

Nothing for headache yet - waiting to see how it goes.
