Hello everyone,

Its nice to read what everyone was up to.

Relieved to know I wasn't the only one drinking excessively. Lol

And look how far we've all come on!!

I'm tempted to start a thread about what were you doing 10 years ago but I'll leave that to someone else.

20 years ago I had 2 young children (and not much money!!) We had just moved into a bigger house, with an even bigger mortgage (nearly paid off now).

I had just started working part-time in the school kitchens to help with the funds, and my hubby had just changed his job for a better paid one. He worked there about 15 years, then could stand it no longer and walked out. On hindsite, turned out to be a good move. I did the school meals job for 12 years until the kids got older, then went to work with elderly people, doing more hours.

Kids are both grown up now, 24 & 26. Where have all those years gone to?

Hi Janet,

Twenty years ago I was living in Sheffield and heavily pregnant with my first son, I lived minutes away from the Hillsborough stadium, so sad,
