Grannie of 10, I hope the sun will shine down on her tomorrow and that she gets the send off she deserves. A truly insirational young woman. I wish I could go too just to pay my respects and I am sure it will be a very moving event.

Did I see something about the funeral being live on living TV? as I can't find any mention of it anywhere now.

I hope the early rain forecasted will have gone and the sun shines on her, She deserves to get the send off she wanted and tomorrow to be a celebration of her life, I got to admire the guts of the girl and her down to earth view on life . She didnt have any airs and was a little self depreciating but she did well.
May she now find eternal peace.

I hope all goes to plan for Jade's funeral and that there are many happy memories among the tears, she was a one off and a brave woman, who has done so much good in her last months, to save other families suffering the same grief. I feel most for her little lads and her Mum who will all miss her so badly.
Rest in Peace Jade.

Hi Grannie,

I watched Jade's funeral on TV. Great to see the sun shone for her. It must have been very emotional and a lovely feeling to be able to pay your respects. The TV coverage was very good and I must admit I had a good cry especially at the end when they read out the contents of Bobby and Freddies letters to her. As a Mum myself it broke my heart to think of those 2 precious boys lose their Mum at such young ages. Anyway London did her proud and gave her a wonderful send off. May she now rest in peace.

Jude,Yes i went to watch the funeral. It was very sad but what a turn out.The sun shone and it was very quiet through out the service.Think it was on Sky News.I went to Waltham Abbey this morning and parked outside daughters and walked over to Jades house. Then went a different way to Buckhurst Hill from the funeral. The funeral was less than a mile from my house..lots of helicopters overhead & the roads shut or blocked by cars....

All very sad but pleased the circus has moved away!!

I meant the reporters, helicopters, big screens... i wasnt referring to the funeral.. which is very sad especially for someone so young

I also dont consider myself ignorant... just misunderstood

i only followed this as Jade lived on the estate where i lived before she went to Waltham abbey. She was such a fun loving girl. She did not deserve and nor does anyone else of what she suffered. My daughter lost her best friend 3 weeks before Jade to cancer only 42. Annie

OneStopGenealogy Report 4 Apr 2009 22:10

i am not sure how calling reporters etc a circus will come back & bite me...i think Jade would probably agree actually as she arranged it all herself

It was a very sad day for Jades family and friends, especially her mum and those little boys

I am sure Karrie didnt mean to offend and nor do i but the press were a pain, from yesterday morning blocking the road so parents found it difficult to pick up their kids from st johns school which is on the same site as the church and this morning nearly blocking the whole road, hours before the funeral and nearly causing an accident
