Oh dear, put it up then forgot, went off to do other things, forgive me everyone please. Had just had such a wonderful day I put a thread up.

Okay ... this is not for sympathy, many others are worse off, far far worse off than me.

For the past few months I've been ... well, that's a long story and not for here, suffice to say I've only been able to leave my home 4-5 times in the past 6months.

One or two friends have been 'in the know', have so supported me, held my hand, believed in me and I thank them them from the bottom of my heart truly I do.

Today I saw the sunshine, got made up, did some of my dreaded h*usework and then I put the lead on Cass and off we went, me and Cass on our own, smiling all the way to the Gorge where we saw swans, ducks and more on the various lakes there and ... I sat on a bench in the warm sunshine swinging my legs, just taking in the atmosphere, feeling happy. I was out for nearly one hour and feeling so so good.

Returned home, rang Dizzi, heard the smile in her voice, then rang a few close friends I haven't seen for so long and ... on Monday one of my friends who has been like a sister for a long time is coming over to collect me, take me to her house for a few hours, then bringing me home.

She's been in hospital, has been recuperating, it will be so so wonderful to catch-up with her.

There is more, much more to my day, yet it has been a wonderful day and I am 'fighting' my way back.

Forgive me if this makes no sense, remember I am dippy lol ... no, just speaking from my heart.

edit: It may not seem much yet for me tis such a huge breakthrough, tis one of the reasons my sisters came after daddy moved on to help support me, boost me by doing my hair and more.

Please don't attack me, just put the thread up because I was happy, felt I owed it to everyone who has sat on my thread waiting, my dear friends, to explain just a little.

Shimms that is really good news.Maybe 2 hours tomorrow ,although I don't think it will be sunny lol.A step further each day.We will be right behind you .

Shimms - glad you had a good day taking your 'first steps' into the future. As others before me have said, make sure it is one step at a time. I can associate with where you are coming from, as I am in the 'rest, recouperate, and one step at a time' position, myself. So gel, don't want to run before you can walk
