When you make a friend, click on their piccie, that takes you to them.

Down in the bottom left corner you'll see 'Applications'. You can send birthday cards, gifts and more, I send flowers and plants, and so much more. Games too such as Scrabble ...

You can also click on one of your friends things, say a poster, name or something and that will take you through too. xxx

Me and I lurvve it I've actually been intouch with my best mate who I'd lost contact with over 10yrs ago and another who used to work with me even longer back.

me and i immediatly got bombarded with people wanting to be "my friend"..even my son's mates and ex husband so i don't bother with it......lol

Hi, I've never used facebook & from reports I read, never been inclined to do so.

Not just because of the issues that Budgie pointed out. But because facebook (if I have this right) copywrite everything you publish & when you try cancelling your subscription. Deleting your pictures, profile, personal info etc, is apparently very difficult.

My private details are private, have had that checked by someone who is a member of Facebook yet not one of my 'friends', she is the daughter of a friend, couldn't see any of my friends and would have to contact me to ask to be one there.

My age ... goes like this,

and so on, and so forth.

My piccies, I have the originals, have been a member for quite a few years. Treat it with respect, always protect yourself.

One can have absolute privacy on face book, and one can delete the account. Then everything will have been removed, unlike here where everything one inputs is copyright of GR.
