Yes Dickie Henderson, there's a name from the past and I imagine he was very good live Sharron. Very slick. So sad he died quite young i believe. I remember he used to play a drunk and slide off the stool, he was quite unique really. |

I remember the first time I saw Billy Conolly on the telly, it was about the time I met my husband so (1974.) he was on Parkinson, he was like a breath of fresh air! My mum was from glasgow, so maybe I have that kind of sense of humour. Rab C. Nesbitt, I love that show. |

I think I've seen Kevin Wilson, he's on Al murray's show too isn't he? He pushes the boundaries to say the least, but yes I think he's good if it's the fella I'm thinking of. Roy Chubby Brown didn't start off as a blue comic did he...think it was out of frustration and desperation! He's a nice bloke in real life like many comics. |

Yes he does have a habit of laughing at his own jokes, and as I said it was 1974 and we'd not seen him before. He apparantly said a very stupid remark about that poor man Ken Biggley the hostage on stage, and many people walked out, quite rightly so. |

I love Catherine Tate. I just have to look at her face, or faces should I say, and I'm in stitches. Didn't realise that our Kevin B Wilson was popular in the UK - we love him here. |

She is so popular in our house that we quote Catherine Tate in normal conversation. People who don't watch her look very confused at times:)) |

I love Victoria Wood. I liked Mike Harding too, but I've not heard anything of him for years now. |

I don't find 'Dinner Ladies' that funny, but Julie Walters character as the scruffy old mum makes me laugh...she walks about with that dirty old blanket around her- and lets the odd one go!! Julie Walters is also great as Mrs Overall, and the waitress 'Two Soups'...oh that grin!!! l LOL |

A lot of the present day comics I don't find very funny. I do like Victoria Wood, her timing is immaculate. I used to like Dave Alan. yes I liked Morecombe and Wise as well. I like some situation comedy. Liked some episodes of Only fools, and the same with the vicar of Dibley. I think sometimes it depends on your own mood at the time. |
