Hi Keith
I was always brought up to be polite
Please and Thank you were the most used words in our house as children. Even had to ask if we could to leave the table after a meal.
My Children and Grandchildren have always been brought up to be polite too and if the Grandchildren do forget then we have a saying "Whats the Magic Word" they know straight away they have forgotten their manners.

Manners cost nothing Keith and makes you a better person if you mind your manners

Have a good day
Regards
Jackie
