Although happily married these last 36 years, I have often fantasised about being Miss Marple!! I love her lifestyle. Just how sad is that!

My cousin is single and no children so travels where and when she pleases, does what she wants..I think with children (I have one) you can't be as 'self centred'...

who nows one day I might get married lol, you see some octagenarians heading altar wise from their old folks homes...! lol

I've been married 30 years this year, have 2 aunties who have never married ... they were engaged during WW2 ...

Also have sisters who from what I can gather love travelling the world, having their own flats, independence and freedom. One is my youngest sister, such fun yet never demanding, gets invited to so many 'Balls' and more cos everyone loves her.

I got married on February 29th - how eager was I!!! LOL
Never had an engagement ring - so you're a few up on me, Ethelfrida & Rose - and I bought my own wedding ring!!! Wasn't desperate - honest!!
Had 2 children and divorced before we'd reached two anniversaries!!!!

never been married never even thought about it ..
been with the same man 20 years and have 3 children .. still dont even think about it lol
although i did change my name by deedpole 19 years ago so that me Ho and children all had the same name .. well its cheeper than a wedding lol

I'm kind of on the fence - i want to be independent but i'd also like to have a partner ........... but i guess you have to make the best of what's mapped out for you lol

I had a Gt Aunt who I feel I am very much like - she never married, was fiercely independent, well travelled and had a very fulfilled life ........... I'm not quite on a par with her in all respects but I'm doing my best lol

So glad I am not the only one McAnne lol... I was brought up to 'cope' lol, but it would be nice to be 'cossetted' occasionally !

I look at some marriages and thank goodness I am not in them...but just a few others which work so well that I am, not jealous exactly...just a bit wistful lol :)
