Keep it going. So many have lost everything...

I've just been watching 'Tonight' on ITV, One man had lost his wife, his two boys, his home, his business. He almost lost his own life. He was found several hours later burned and unconscious on the side of the road. He had gone to get the car to get his family out of there.

How the hell do you recover from that? Where do you begin helping them?

Donations have now reached over the AD$104 m mark. Clothes, food etc. coming in from all over Australia. Vets coming to help the animals as well as feed for them. So many heroes as well as heartbreaking stories of lost families etc.
Guess you have seen the firie who gave water to the koala...& the koala, named Sam, reached out & put her paw in his hand. Really heart renching!

Chris, that little koala has been on all the news over here...not just those poignant pictures at the time, but his recovery after. He's going to be an icon for these fires I think.
