Just had a phone call my brother-in-law had his biopsy results ~ he's clean he is free from the cancer the transplant was a complete success and A's bone marrow as took next week they will wean him off the anti-rejection drugs and he can get back to living his life, however cos there is a risk it may return at anytime A has to consider whether he is up to building up a storage bank of bone marrow, stem cells or both then if he does relapse the new marrow and cells are there. A also has to donated to a blood bank for M ~ just in case! Can I just say on all our behalves a massive thenk you ~ you raised me up! Mel x |
