Not in most cases I agree Kemp. I suspect though that as the authorities had been robbed it could well have ment life. Just to teach them to steal from the poor rather than the rich. |

I don't know but it involved an iron bar, so whoever did it meant business. Plus I think that if you go out on a crime and a murder is comitted by someone you're with you are classed as being as guilty as they are. |

I think so and one killed himself (Buster something?). But as Biggs escaped he didn't serve his prison term. Whether he should now be let off the rest because he is ill is something I wouldn't want to decide on. |

I'm sure I read somewhere that he has suffered from dementia for some time too. IMHO why should I be supporting him through my taxes? He made sure he raised a family in Brazil so that he couldn't be extradited to the UK so let them pay for him, not me. |

you only have to see someone living with a head injury to know what a dire impact a whack with an iron bar would have had. |

I hate the attitude that the great train robbers were lovable rogues. What a load of old tosh. Most of them were career criminals.... they certainly weren't the 'Robin Hoods' of their day stealing from the rich to give to the poor. It was done purely for self gain. |
