I'd pass you some Fisherman's Friends but trust me, even when you're throat is sore, they are ugh! If you were nearer I'd bring round my Vicks throat spray, tis fab, kind of numbs the soreness if that makes sense.

Have you gargled. Can't bear honey and lemon but my family luv it, tis very soothing.

Oh th, I had some fabulous pressies, twas as if my mind had been read ... by my one of my absolute favourite artists too, have been 'blown away'.

What you listening to on the radio hun, I've been listening to Leonard Cohen and more on Youtube. The others are square eyed in front of the tv lol!

they just playing mix records most christmas ones you dont here that often, plus its a chat show,you can phone etc.

Some people have phoned in saying having a BBQ in garden for xmas dinner. Other have been on a boat.

I did have some fishermen friends but must have had them.

Oh gosh, the warmth to cook a BBQ for Christmas Day dinner. :) We haven't eaten yet, tis OH's birthday so they always have a brunch, usually eat around 2-3pm but this year we've decided to eat much later, around 6pm'ish.

Your music sounds lovely, have been watching clips of musicals, listening to music of different types.

hi shimms i only have radiators so i keep them on i have candles which make it feel warmer in the mind bright too

I only got radiators and so i put candle on as well. it does make it feel warmer, i have one alight near mums photo have one going everyday.

Its been cold her in MK all day, got colder now. as least its not snowing or raining.

its about to start freezing here but as you say it is dry so much better i will enjoy walking the dog later

Nothing nicer than the warm golden glow of a candle th, especially for your mum. Have just put a candle in the Garden of Peace thread. xxx

Cass had a long walk this morning, should really have another, after our Christmas dinner I think. xxx

i do enjoy being out of dorrs cant walk too far as i have bad legs but do get round ok .i stiffen up if i dont move though

Same here cant walk to far. then cant sit to long as stiff. So we cant win can we.

But i try and get out when i can.

There was a time when I always cooked, adored it ... entertained too.

When it was my son's birthday I'd have so many children, prepare finger food, teeny tiny things, make those little cakes that you can eat in one go too.

Joints are horrid aren't they, we take Glucosomine capsules, Cod Liver Oil too to help us.

Lol, me ... I have a tendency to break bones. :)

Oh honey, if you can th that would mean you are getting better, even if only for a quick 'to the corner and back' walk.

I had two hip replacements three years ago which has taken a lot of the pain away now but my feet get painful when it is cold but i am too young to give in so it is perseverence thats keeping me going
i used to cook alot at home but after cooking for 130 everyday and then thousands in the forces the novelty wears off lol

Gosh, have just eaten my Christmas dinner, no sweet yet .. will wait til later. Have some delicious Devonshire clotted cream, 2 tubs lol, a Chrissy pressie, having some with strawberries.

Oh thank goodness!

I cooked for years then decided life was too short lol, luvin you Maz hun!

Have family members who've had hip replacements, say it's like having a new lease of life. Your feet, is it arthritis or Reynards or both hun. xxx
