Just what she deserved, well done for reporting it.

I hope she gets sacked to, we need people with feelings who actually care in this type of workplace not those that couldnt care less.

Hope she gets what is owing to her.

Thanks for letting us know Annie. Good to hear that she's been suspended. I can't understand why people who don't care want jobs in the caring profession.
Like Marilyn, I hope she gets what is owing to her.

Glad the manager is out of the way and hope some decent management come in and help those poor folk immediately, also that they help the staff cope better. Good luck to your daughter, and to you, thanks for reporting this.

I agree, you should be very proud of her daughter and you should have some cheers yourself.
As a caregiver, I have before this sent a staff member down to the pharmacy supply shop to buy masks or gloves if we ran out - and have been reimbursed. It just cannot be tolerated.

If a caregiver in one of these homes, or management, ever ceases to realise that we are doing for other peoples parents what we can't do for our own parents/grandparents, they should leave.

Good job the manager has been suspended, absolutely right.

fantastic news and well done you for reporting it - and for your daughter too!!! Would that there were more people willing to shop those who donlt do their jobs properly in the business of care - as Maggy says, why do people who donlt care about other chose to work in a caring profession? Hopefully this person will never get another job in the field of care

Well done Annie - to you and your daughter. Great news that the manager has been suspended - though not enough in my opinion...hopefully now both the staff and residents will have a much better environment to work/live in.

Well done Annie, and well done Annie's Daughter!
:-))

Erm, on a lighter note for a second, I have to disagree with you lot: the word is MISMANAGER please!
:-))

But seriously, thank goodness she's been suspended. What a shame if she's still on full pay.
I do hope the residents of the home start to get looked after better, and with employees like your daughter Annie, they will be.
Thanks for the update.

Hope now that the residents start to enjoy living in the home, and with caring staff like your daughter they will be fine. Your daughter sounds like a very caring person. ~You must be proud.
