My son loves getting cufflinks. He has about 20 pairs so far. And he does use them.

My OH likes getting garden vouchers. He also goes on Amazon and presents us with a list.

If they read, book token, if they like music CD token or Smiths token then they can choose.

My SiL is easy, he and daughter both get a carrier bag full of small gifts (actually this costs more than buying one present!!) his tend to be based around cooking as that is what he enjoys doing and eating (ditto), thinks like special mustards, chutneys, spices etc. And a few kitchen tools/gadgets (not expensive ones. i collect for them through the year.

For something a bit special how about a silver or gold bank note clip. Looks great and takes up no room in pocket.

Last year my girls gave their dad a digital photoframe for Christmas. He likes it and is buying some for members of his side of the family this year. There are a number available online at quite reasonable prices. Some have the option of music playing as well as pictures.

I'm not sure what to buy him myself this Christmas. Last year I was a bit extravagant and bought us a one night stay in London with tickets to see the Terracotta Warriors and the Tutankhamun Exhibition.

A few years ago I bought him a large tree fern for the garden.

He's had various gadgets and tankards and other bloke sort of stuff.

He's not easy to get things for either as whenever he fancies a tool or gadget he tends to buy it there and then. We often ask him to make a wish list and casually leave it lying around for inspiration!
