I'm a hand washer, not compulsive, just a habit probably because of my occupation.

A few years back I took the first of my food safety courses. The health inspector (who taught the course) mentioned a study that had done on shopping cart handles. Beside all the usual nasties that were on the handle, a large percentage of the carts contained seman. Yuk!

I have noticed that the grocery stores here have sani wipes next to the carts, about time.

You'll get a kick out of this.

We had one of those warm roasted chickens the other night and were all sick 24 hours later. It was the last one left when we arrived. Never again! Even the cat had an upset tummy.

I always wipe down the shopping trolleys. Especially since I have a toddler and baby who have to sit in them.
