Nah..... too much trouble and it is not that good for your hair.
What is wrong with grey hair??
I would worry more about over processing it and it dropping out!

Ive been dying my hair since I was about 14 but not for hiding grey purposes so it made no difference when the grey started appearing

Like Jax, I started colouring my hair in my mid-teens, just for something different more than anything else.

However i did start developing a few stray greys in my late 20's and have been 'covering up' ever since ........

I'm only in my 40's - which i feel is too young to give in to it, so i have now switched from auburn to a dark blonde so any greys that resist don't show too much lol

Me, and proud of it. I refuse to grow old gracefully. I only started about 10 years ago, when the greys were smiling and waving collectively.

BC!!!! *shocked!*

I have been colouring my hair for years, all shades you could put on dark brown/auburn hair, and used henna too at one time, before that I used those harmony sachets. Around 13 yrs ago I was still using brown dye to cover the grey, we show it early in our family, but the sun would make the brown turn blonde anyway so started to use blonde dye and have continued. Use a beige blonde from Nice n Easy, comes out strawberry blonde for the first two washes then fades to a blonde I can live with. I have a lot of natural red pigment in my hair hence the strawberry part.

Bit of a bind doing it but don't want to be all over grey just yet.

Been colouring my hair, to cover the grey since I was about 40 Try to stick to my natural colour, but not sure what my natural colour is these days....lol...
Do mine about every 6-8 weeks, which is a bit of a pain, but I will not go grey!!

*puts hand up*

Got my first few strands of grey at 18 and because I'm naturally very dark brown, I felt that they were obvious and didn't want to be grey that soon. I've been covering up ever since and when my roots start showing through, they're almost completely grey. No offence to those who are happy to let the grey show through, but I don't want that while I'm still in my early 40s!
