A stroll down to the river is now in order, the water level having receded to a fishable height.

Hopefull I will return in an hour or so with a salmon or two, or a sea trout or three, or maybe even a combination of both.

I have my favourite recipe ready if anyone wants it, pm me.

:-)

The midges defeated me. Little devils have chewed half my face off and eaten my hands for dessert.

The fish may have won today, but they have to be lucky every time.......

Really?

They won't win tomorrow when I'm back with the midge net and repellant. No, they won't be laughing then, thats for sure.

Looks like its cold sliced venison for tea instead.
