I hope your friend's passing was as peaceful as we all hoped. I am sorry for your loss and that of your friend's family, but pleased that the poor lady is no longer in any pain.

Thanks all of you. I can't cry - I think I did that when I first heard Liz had cancer and limited time, but I am sure it will be hard to stop the tears at the funeral.

Jac, I think it was a peaceful passing, thanks. I am glad Liz is free from the pain now, but it is unfair she had to suffer at all. Let's hope this awful disease is soon able to be cured, or stopped in it's tracks as some newspaper reported today further breakthroughs in research.

I am so very sorry to hear of your sad news.

I know what you mean, when my Gran had cancer it was a relief when she died, at least she was no longer in pain.
