I heard on one programme, can't remember which or where, that he still has loads of dosh coming in from royalties so isn't hard up.
This might sound evil but when we all know of good decent people dying awful deaths from cancer etc, doesn't it make you wonder about the justice of things? He should be the one with cancer invading his body and putting him through the agonies of a lingering death.

LIke i said earlier, I dont see any of these barbaric punishments wished on the priest who has just got 5 years for far worse offences than GG committed....or would it not be right to wish torture, mutilation and death on a man of the cloth.....

I think your right, the media do add attention to him, but I also think we 'need to know' where he will be going.
Any person who does these barbaric things to children need to be punished, man of the cloth, faded pop star etc....... they are all the same - disgusting excuses for human beings.

OK. I will put my other thread back up in a minute or so to deal with this - but what about the thousands of other convicted sex offenders who do far worse things but dont get this amount of press hysteria and lynch mob mentality thrown at them?

Not the I defend GG - far from it.

I just think its all going way way over the top. People are now competing with each other to devise the most painful and vengeful punishment possible, each one outdoing the next in severity and bizareness.

It makes me uneasy, it really does, to see how close to the surface the lynching mob still exists.

The reason why he is getting the lynch mob...is because he has been made known publicly...
I am sure that other pead's get just as much hate when they are made known too......
as for the men of cloth......i agree......but the church just move them around.....
but then there are the men of police uniforms...some of them were found to be in peodofile ring....and doctors.....and politicians .does not matter who they are..!!....Its time the offence got a more serious penalty...they should never see daylight again.....

I don't disagree, but this frenzy is the worst I've seen for a long time, for some strange reason far worse cases dont get this degree of publicity.

Anyone(wether it be a pop star,man of the cloth or family person) who harms children in any way should have their Human Rights taken away and should be put somewhere ie prison,desert island,on a deserted oil rig or in the jungle,so that they cannot mix with children again for the rest of their lives.

And I still say they should be operated on to make them Eunuchs.

Children are defenceless and shouldn't have their childhood taken from them and be made to feel bad about themselves or have an adult telling them that it is ok(child abuse) and don't tell anyone as you will be taken away from your Mummy/Daddy.

That is one of the reasons all the child abuse is coming to the fore now as these children are growing up and can speak up for themselves.

If it happened to your children or grandchildren then I am sure that you would be calling for the proper justice that should be meted out to these people.

Can't say anymore as I would get a very long ban.
