Good Morning all. No I find it easier to iron it's not so dry, it is a bit of a pain charging in and out of the garden every time it rains, but I must say I do feel pleased with myself. Also I buy more potatoes than I used to, very versatile, mash, roasties, jackets etc. |

Also when my little one starts full time school in Sept, I am planning to dig all the shrubs and bushes out of one of the garden borders and grow my own veg. Have my name on an alottment waiting list but could be waiting years. |

Veggie soup, yum, make loads, what's left over add cream, blend, freeze for a pasta sauce. Add a bit of nutmeg really brings the flavour out. x |

I have started to grow all my own herbs as I use such a lot in my cooking. Got so fed up of having to pay 60p-80p for Coriander, Parsley basil etc. |

This time of year there is a glut of tomatoes around neighbours with greenhouses etc., blend with a little bit of water, cream (can you tell i'm overweight), and some of your lovely fresh basil. |

I plan my weeks meals with the family and decide what and when we are having. I write it in the work-top diary. |

Hi Joan, this is where I go wrong. I really should start planning my meals. I alway used to when money was a little tight when the 4 children were little. |

Bet we could all save money if we rotated our freezers and used the stuff at the bottom instead of leaving it till it goes white and dehydrated, got stuff lurking at the bottom of mine older than my son! |

An old boyfriend of mine, way back, used to aim for pheasants in the road, stop, get out, chuck it in the boot, and state that was his Sunday roast and a fiver saved on a joint of meat! |
