Some of you might remember my thread of yesterday where I was concerned over a friend putting my childrens pics on fb.

Well I just been on there now and not only has she not removed them but she has added more and tagged me in them so they are known to be my children

Im trying really hard not to lose my temper but she is not respecting my wishes

Update

the pics of my children have now been removed from the site by facebook the man who helped me has been very good and went through each pic to ensure they were removed, he has also sent her a mail to remind her that she needs permission to add others photos.

Thankyou all for your support I can now get some sleep tonight :)

Is she aware of how you feel? can you phone her and lay it on the line? she might have not realised what she's done?

Yes there is and ive spoken to her on the phone but she wont remove them just adding more.

would Facebook remove them if you ask?

what did she say when you asked her to remove them?

I understand how you feel, but have you made it quite clear to your friend, that you want them removed?

Jax, I would complain to FB.
Then ring her when you have calmed down, she is taking liberies now, or doing it to wind you up even more!!

I think when you add photos to Facebook you confirm that you are in a position to be able to do so - i.e the images belong to you.

If she's posted them and they dont belong to her then she is contravening their t & c.

I would contact Facebook pdq and ask for their removal.

Edited to add she will own the copyright to the pics!

Think you best be very stern with her. She is totally out of order. And if she knows you dont like it, well , I would look for new friends. let us know how you go on xxx

Jax 2 words hun Kipper and **** now ya calmed down get hold of FB and get them removed and delete her from friends

I have asked her and explained my reasons why I dont want them on the net, also made it clear I wanted them removed.

Her reason for not removing is she wants her friends to see her on hol with her son.

Ive also asked her to cut us out of the pics but she wont.

Remind her of the T&Cs she agreed to when signing up to the site ..........

Thanks all ive just spoken to her on the phone and she has point blank told me she will not remove them so ive reported the pics as she has also named my children on them now too.

I cannot believe the total lack of resect she has for my wishes.

She may be your friend hun, you have asked how many times now? I think you need to report it, the longer you leave god know how many pictures could be copied of your kids.

Janey I have reported them now just very sad it has come to this.

Carrie this is a friend I have known for 10 years and have not known her to be this disrespectful until this visit, but yes after this I no longer want anything to do with her.

How disrespectful AND irresponsible of her !!

((((hugs))))) Real friends would understand... and your children have had their right to privacy and anonymity infringed by her........ that is breaking the law... as bad as shoplifting or mugging or house breaking.. she has actually violated their rights!

You did absolutely the right thing........ no guilt trips now!!
