Travel Lodge are usually the cheapest and you can get a room half price if you pre book by more than 7 says but their dining facilities are sometimes none existent, Premier Travel Inn are good and they always have a pub restaurant attached to them. 	I never went last year Kim, as i said this is my first trip to gateshead. What i really need is for someone who did go last year and will be going this year to take charge ....lol or it could all end up a disaster haha
