A friend and I are driving up from Middlesbrough on Saturday morning, so we'll see you all there.

Thinking again the one at the babicain I am less likely
to attend as it is only on a Sunday.

We stay out at hotels quite often when we are attending family history fairs.

Travel Lodge are usually the cheapest and you can get a room half price if you pre book by more than 7 says but their dining facilities are sometimes none existent, Premier Travel Inn are good and they always have a pub restaurant attached to them.

I live in London.
Not coming this year but might come up next year by train and stay A night or two in a hotel.Thinking off Marritot Centre Hotel near the Metro Centre.

I never went last year Kim, as i said this is my first trip to gateshead.

What i really need is for someone who did go last year and will be going this year to take charge ....lol or it could all end up a disaster haha

I thought last year in Gateshead was brill

ok so on the Friday night I partied with the bride-to- be & bridesmaids so I was a bit worse for wear on the Saturday lol

but I still think the GR gathering was a good day
