OOh a fav ..... Well I defo like my wine and a Tall G & T in the summer ...... I make my own Sloe Gin but cant really drink it much these days as I tend to get a hangover with shorts...... I used to be very fond of courvoisier brandy neat no ice when I was younger but again unless I have a bad cold I stear clear.

I do have the odd port or port and Brandy but suffer the next day if I have had wine too.

Maddie - you do like your strong stuff eh! LOL

Make your own sloe gin - I am well impressed - I take it, its lethal then, like homemade beer and wine? Do you need a still - ha ha you are making moonshine! PMSL.

Stray when I used to drink many moons ago, I did enjoy a Harvey Wallbanger and I agree you can just knock them down no probs. and its not until you get up to go to the ladies you find you cannot stand up! PMSL.

Fleurie is a rather good red wine from the Beaujolais area - a little pricey for a decent one but very good.
Adnams and Timmy Taylor (Timothy Taylor Landlord) are beers.

Harpstrings Report 2 Jun 2008 22:18

Thank you Errol.

I enjoy a glass of decent red wine now and again - a cabernet sauvignon - that is the red one isn't it?
An Australian brand does a very good one.
