Had enough lol.....

I have enjoyed being here for a long time but it now seems my name acts as a 'red rag to a bull' lol.

I don't like to see the boards as a battle ground and while I am here there will be those who post to provoke me into a response (and I am not restrained enough not to fight my corner lol) too many people have been driven off....I choose to go!

Rose, I am sad that you are letting them win. I had thought you a stronger person than that. However, I do understand but I have to say the boards will be a poorer place without you.

Oh Rose....I have watched with despair the hounding of you on the Chat Board.

I am so sorry to see you go but fully understand why you have had enough.

Life is far too short to get het up about things and people that don't matter one little bit in the scheme of things.

I will miss your fairhandedness and your intelligence on these boards.

Rose I saw some of the hounding and baiting of you that went on last night. I understand why you have chosen to leave, although I am very very sorry that you have been put into the position of making that choice. Your warmth, wit, intelligence and fair mindedness I will miss very much.

very sorry to read this Rose, I too have seen you attacked over the last few days and can understand how fed up with it you must be.

have a break, enjoy 'real' life for a week or two, then come back to us and rise above these sad cases! they really aren't worth it.

Im sorry to see you go , but after witnessing the names you have been called then i dont blame you, how can you not retaliate when you have been hounded so badly .
I wish i could sit on my hands when they start but like you its hard.
i for one wont sit and watch and not say anything when people are being so nasty to you and others .

Just to say thank you so much for your good wishes and kind words.

I also just wanted to say to those who 'encouraged' my leaving and who are bound to read this ...You haven't 'won', you have merely played your game to it's conclusion with me and that is a different thing entirely. I hope that now you will draw a line under the past events and let the boards be fun for the sake of others.

I wish I was the type to ignore the goading lol....I know some can and I admire their restraint and calmness under fire . But sadly that is not me, lol.

I agree with others - try just taking a break for a while.

However, if you are determined not to post again, nor to renew later in the year, then I shall say it has been a pleasure to have "spoken" here with you

Rose, I'm really sorry that you have been treated so badly. I sympathise - I find it very hard to ignore being unfairly treated, and I hardly ever venture on here these days in case people who have been very unkind to me have another go.

Although you will be missed, I can confirm that there is indeed life beyond GR and I wish you well!
