Ok own up who has nicked the sunshine,??? half term week and we have weather like this !!!! my three kids are bored out their heads now, it rained all day yesterday and today the same, when are we going to get the sun back ?? We are hoping to go away on thursday for a few days and don't want to pack winter woolies!

i've not got it...............

Well i thought i had found it peeping through a grey cloud, but no, it's gone again..................

Sorry hun, someone must have 'thrown' it this way, yesterday was abs gorgeous (before that was dreadful), last night couldn't sleep, sudden flashes of light, thunder and lightening and now .. looks like thrown this way again, can feel heat coming.

I'm on half-term too, miserable isn't it when rains? Do hope you've got some now, if not ......................

Awwww thanks Shimmer,I caught a bit of it .. It is trying to break through a little bit now it's not as dull as it was earlier, we are really looking forward to having a break in Scarborough, the kids love it there, but everytime we try to get away it blooming rains !!! at least we are stopping in a B&B and not camping this time... yippee... Where abouts are you Shimmer??

I stayed in Scarborough as part of my Geography Field Studies as a teenager!

Was Winter, we were in caravans without heating, everyone went to bed in full clothing, coats, hats, scarves, gloves - still froze!!!

Lovely area, very scenic, went round York (beautiful) too!

Yes Shimmer we love York too my oh works there so its a bit like a bus mans holiday for him when we go shopping lol! Lets keep our fingers crossed for the sunshine, if it can start about teatime tomorrow when we are en route it would be fab.. Thinkl i will write today off, kids are still not dressed and i can't be bothered to do anything, as my mum would say it feels like back end. lol!

Its a bit too far to travel for the weekend Ann lol ! Mick i know it was summer at the beginning of May cos it was my birthday and it was gorgeous, i just thought the sun might come back again or am i just dreaming about summer?

Lol Marion, agree, takes a lot of rain to reach roots below ground. Luv it best if rains overnight, air fresh and clean then + opportunity for BBQ's!!!

Iv'e risked it and put some washing out, it is very muggy tho' i think we are going to get the thunder and lightening that others have had overnight. The parrot is sqwarking at mo so i think he can sense something lol!

He's probably telling you to get the washing back in!!!!
