Good Morning Paul, nice to see you this morning. I hope you are feeling a little better today? |

I did think about "drop-in" centres, but don't know of any round here. |

Paul, is there no 'drop-in' clinic anywhere near you ? If so, they might help; no doctor should speak to you as yours did, and a 'drop-in' clinic' might lend a more sympathetic ear. |

I think you need to find a away to cope just as people come in to you .... |

I suppose it's more when people come in, as I don't like the thought of people seeing me panic. |

So at what point do you begin to panic ? |

Paul Norfolk Dumpling | Report | 20 May 2008 23:19 |

There's not always other people there, that's the problem. |

Do you really believe that they at work will do nothing if you have a panic attack at work ..... |

I'll have to go, leaving the pub unattended, which will make my boss furious, make them shout at me, and then making my mood lower, causing more depression & panic. |

So if you cant leave your job ...you need some ways to cope with it all ......... |

It sounds odd, but my panic attacks come through a fear of having an attack! |

Paul, please persuade your GP. I know someone who has just done the course and could see a difference in them in a couple of weeks. |

As has been advised Paul, hop across to the Depression/Anxiety thread which now has in excess of 3,000 postings - everyone helps one another on that thread, never ever been any unpleasantness on there and trust there never will. Always someone around on there to give support and advice and usually there is someone with the same symptoms as yourself - give it a try, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain |
