I totally agree with talking to someone who does not know you .You can leave you problems with a stranger which is by far the best way to do it .I am a good listener (was with victim support for 10 years) |

Have you ever had CBT? I know that you can actually do it by computer now and it does help. My doctor was the same when I went to see him with panic attacks and stress/depression. He told me that he would do nothing for me until I got rid of my then husband, as he was the problem!! Doesn't help when you are in the middle of a full blown attack and have no help is it. |

Paul, that breathing in and out helps you concentrate if you count to 4 (in your head) whilst breathing in through your nose and count to 4 whilst letting it out through your mouth - try it for a while. |

I've tried MoodGym, and i've got a 101 books on the subject, but my fear is when i'm at work having a panic attack. Books & Web programs go to the back of my head when in a panic |
