lol Stella..good idea!! i could see the whole country that way!

If it comes to it and I have to move without finding something I would be able to stay with friend for a few weeks while I look.....so won't be entirely 'homeless', or may rent somewhere for a short term perhaps. .

xx

I dont believe a word of it Rose! Mac, as you get older would the physical demands be hard? Opening those barrier thingies etc? I used to live near Banbury canal, there were some lovely narrowboats. We often go camping near the canal at Napton, Warwickshire.

Mac I have only been on a canal boat once (Guildford way) it was a wonderfully relaxing day .

You have got me thinking though! lol my son would love the lock gates and the mechanics thereof .

Sounds wonderful! Ive often wondered what the inside of the boats are like, have only seen the insides on 'Rosie and Jim' when my middle daughter was little lol.

Jax, part of the reason I am stuck trying to think where to go is that this area was the place I always thought I would move to and 'end my days' .....but it has changed, and so have I ,I suppose, or at least my needs are now more dictated by my son! lol
