Oh missed it all, and I missed a lot of Cranford too, altho I recorded some, o.h. deleted it because he wanted to record a long thing and there wasn't room. Hope it will be repeated soon.

Just read about her and saw her picture, what an amazing lady.

Cranford was absolutely wonderful, but then it had all our great actresses in it - the dialogue was brilliant as were the costumes. My only claim to fame is that Andrew Davies was in my class at infants and junior school though I am rather surprised at some of the very racy things he had adapted - he seemed such a quiet colourless boy at school - hardly remember him even, and my classmates, many of whom I still see, all feel the same'

Of forgot, my first cousin's grandson is a Von Trapp child in the West End!!!
