I remember Robinson Crusoe. He salvaged so much stuff from the shipwreck he should have been able to build another one!

Do you remember Orlando? And Follyfoot Farm was must watch TV for young teenage girls.

Also do you remember: White Horses and Belle & Sebastian...badly dubbed into English and what about the Doubledeckers with the fat boy who kept getting wedged....very PC incorrect these days

Don't remember White Horses but do remember Belle & Sebastian - and you are sooo right about the dubbing. It must have been the model for all those martial arts ones that followed, lol.

White Horses:

The programme, shot in black and white in Slovenia in 1965, followed the adventures of 15-year-old Julia who leaves Belgrade to spend a holiday with her uncle on his stud farm.

Thrilling and exciting sounding isn't it?

As a mother, I became acquainted with programmes like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Fraggle Rock. (I swear Fiz in Corrie had her hair modelled on Red's.)

Now a grandmother, I'm being introduced to a whole new generation of viewing such as In the Night Garden. I do get some strange looks when I burst into a rendition of Yes my name is Iggle Piggle, while pushing the trolley in the supermarket. Always suspected I was off my trolley, lol.

Does anyone remember "the Singing ringing Tree " ?

it is from the same era as "Belle and Sebastien " etc

Regarding "the Night Garden", I'm the same as you Poolie Girl ( a Grandmother) My little Granddaughter corrects me if I get one of the characters wrong..........I think its a lovely kiddies programme and echos a lot of the ones we watched back then.
