Kitty is concentrating very hard on not killing all her e-mails by sending them into cold cruel hyper space... and Errol is making sure the destructions are absolutely clear (it's a man thing... single minded and not very good at multi tasking, but please don't tell him I said so ;¬)) gmbo!!

You should now be back at the Internet Accounts dialogue box. If not select Accounts from the Tools menu again.
Click the Mail tab.
On the Mail tab select the AOL account that you just added in the steps above.
Click Properties.
Click the Servers tab and put a tick next tick next to "My server requires authentication".
Click on Apply.
Click the Advanced tab.
In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) box, type 587.
Click Apply.
Click the IMAP tab.
remove the tick next to "Store special folders on IMAP server" and click Apply.
Click OK.
Click Apply and OK.
Click Close.
You may be asked if you want to download folders from the mail server you added - click Yes?


That should do it - you can now use OE to download e-mails to your computer and also to send them.
You will need to change the settings if you want to use it for e-mail when you change ISP.

No worries.
By doing this you will now use OE to receive and send emails - it's really easy to use.

*digs out hammer and very large nails so we can pin Errol's feet to GR's floor, lol!! ;¬))

Have you tried composing a new email and sending it? Try sending one to yourself to test it
