snowing near Heathrow but only settling on grass, not on pavements or roads.

The best sorta snow! Plenty for the (big) kids to play with, but nothing to trouble drivers :-)

Light covering here in Lanarkshire.

When I married on 24th April 1981, it was the heaviest recording of a white out up here, since the turn of the century.

Not a single photo taken outside. And the reception hotel had typical gawdy wallpaper of the 70's!

But , we are about to celebrate our 27th anniversary in a few weeks.

Sorry, got a bit sidetracked.

Sieter woke me earlier sending a text photo of her garden in Bucks covered in snow - (I was disappointed as I expected it to be an announcement of her first grandchild due any day now!)
Here in Norfolk we had nothing at that time - I got up 10 mins ago and it started to hail heavily - but thats now stopped, so who knows what todays weather has in store for us all.

Snowing here in Essex, near Kent. Trees, grass all white but so far not laying on ground.

I've got family near The Mumbles, near Taff - anyone know if it's snowing there?

Remember when you could build a real snowman, couldn't go to school ... Bought our son a toboggan but as soon as we got it out the snow would vanish!

Have about an inch of snow here where I'm on the Surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire borders. Take care if you 'need' to travel - local radio reporting that gritters are now going out - A3 and M3 seem badly hit. Jx
