Think it must have been Me and My Girl, Only a Bird in a Gilded Cage, When Irish Eyes are Smiling and My Blue Heaven as I can remember Mum singin these when I was very small said she used to alter the words such as there's Molly and me to there's Ted and me... my dad they were only in their twenties when I was born and very much in love.

There were no number ones when I was born in 1931, but I do remember seeing Shirley Temple singing "On the good ship lollipop " at the pictures when I was little.
