We won't have time to have the paintbrush party, I'm afraid, time is too much of the essence. I did however, try to get a nice young man to be a stripper for me tonight LOL.

I have an uncertain dilemma. With the laminate flooring I was going to just take out the old skirting boards, put the flooring down and put new ones over. However, the booklet I've just been reading says that as an introductory tenant I have to have permission for improvements/alterations/repairs I'm now thinking that I can't do what I wanted to. *frets*

Have to phone electric, gas and water. Then BT & broadband people.

Yup, confirmed, council are responsible for skirting *sighs* Don't have time to wait for written permission...so white gloss it is!

leave the boards down - put underlay over them then laminate - sand the skirting down and repaint :) sorted.

yeah, just don't like the way it looks when you have to leave the expansion space.
