Just been reading about an elderly couple in Newcastle who kept the hair they gathered from grooming their now deceased pedigree dogs and had them made into jumpers. That is so icky |

It's that people don't know that bugs me Rox. I'm not anti fur really but it's the cruelty that can be involved I don't like. |

We used to save the brushed fur from our Keeshond dog in the 60s as there was a lady on the Isle of Wight who spinned (span?) it into wool. No, we didn't wear any of the results, lol! The poodle sweaters looked very practical but no marks on the sartorial front! |
