Depends on what the benifits are,,,,,,,,DLA,Mobility Allowence,Rent Benifits,,,,Council Tax Benifits,,,,,,,,Child Benifits,,,,Careser Allowences,,,,,,these are all taken and added up into those 20.000.75.000 families,,,,,,,,so feasible,,,,,, |

I think the genuine families that have hardship that are claiming well fine-but the one's that are milking the system for what they can get-well that's a different story altogether. |

I do not work my husband is self employed. We recieve carers allowance & DLA for my daughter and the costs on a yearly basis are a lot more than what we recieve in benefits. Any thing classed as 'special needs' is so much more expensive that what other items cost. We also would be better off if my husabnd worked for some one rather than being self employed, but this would not give him the flexiable hours he can have now. I try not to relie on him if he isnt working he isnt earning. But when the long summer holidays come some days I do need a break. This works well for us and although I recieve these benefits my husband pays TAX's + 6 months up front |

I know of families where generations have never had a proper job - it seems to be a culture that's developed in some families |

My husband works very long hours and long shift patterns and if those figures are correct we would be better off on benefits, not that we would ever consider that. |

I am a single parent, but got minimum benefit when they were small, because I worked during term time. |
