tomatoes, peppers, cucumber, melon, plus all your veggie seedlings and flowers for the garden.I do not buy ,any ready grown produce ,because there are many garden centres, using infected mediums [though they always deny it] and you land up importing club root or other diseases into your garden.
Have fun,and use those green fingers .Fred.p/s avoid snap dragons, they cause clubroot.

Puss.....if your getting one of those plastic ones ( three or four shelves) please make sure you weight the bottom shelf down with something heavy.....I had one....thought it would be ok but it fell over sending all my seed trays spilling every where :(
I was happy with the plastic one for a couple of years but at the best it will only last two or three years....the frame rots through eventually.
Have fun :)

I'm haveing a go at Aubergines this year.
I've never eaten one so I hope I like them
My cabbage seedlings are all up ,as are some of the leeks ( for transplanting to allottment ) several trays of onion seedlings on the go also.

Flowers are "soul food" Mac.....lol

Rosemary and Lavender ought to be able to survive in your garden Puss.....especially good in a sheltered area....south faceing if possiable.
Rosemary can grow to about five feet.

My little grandson has planted his little pots of chives....parsley and coriander in my greenhouse......I'll make a gardener out of him if I can......lol

I got my wonderful greenhouse last spring......I already have most of the shelves full of seedlings ready for the allottment........I wish it was bigger.....the cry of all greenhouse owners.....lol
Toughened glass is a must.....my greenhouse shifted back 8 inches in the recent wind but the glass is ok.

I would think long and hard about getting a greenhouse as their is a rumour that greenhouses are responsible for greenhouse gasses and the government have clicked on to this and are going to slap a 40% tax on them at the next budget :-))

Sounds lovely Puss, good luck.

If I had a garden I would definately have a greenhouse. We got an allotment but its in the next town and proving too much work. I would love to grow things.
