I can endorse what Huia has put about making it easy with clear and simple messages, especially names, ie instead of say for instance Mary's wedding anniversary, it is nice to put her husbands name too.

Susan yes I will be about the boards for a while at least, Im doing the Birthdays til April, then on occasion you can find me in the "Wattlers" thread.

I have a couple of possibilities and will keep you all informed if someone takes this thread on, until then I will still be about and will do the Birthdays.

yes well done. It was a brave and honourable tribute to June for you to take over the thread like you did.

Maybe GR could take over. When you register you could give them your birth date and they could post a daily thread!!!

Wouldnt be as personnal as the usual ones though.

Good idea about having somebody volunteer for each month.

Perhaps we could have 12 people to do the job? Somebody with a January birthday could do Jan. (hardly likely to forget their own b/day). Another with a Feb b/day could do Feb, and so on. This would make the job less onerous and stressful.
