Yes, we were in London yesterday, staying over as we had booked to see the Terracotta Warriors at the British museum.

Well worth it but you are running out of time if you want to go as is closes in a month.

We planned to spend today viewing the visitor sites and went to Portobello Market in this morning - but by 12 we decided to abandon the day as it was becoming very cold and windy.

We stopped off at St Pancras Station - well worth a visit if you are down there - it was absolutely heaving. Lots of shops and some good eating places.

Back home in Cambs is got very cold and rained heavily for an hour but is currently dry and cloudy.

Got the stove lit now, so nice and cosy.

Hi Mildred he is on the Ferry and its making good time - there are no High seas yet should arrive in Dover about 3pm he has to do several drop offs but should be back in the West Country about 10 or 11pm.

I hope he gets here before the gales start - we are expecting 80 mile an hour winds tonight.

Lovely here in Norwich so far, but not expecting the storms until tomorrow morning, and hopefully they may have blown themselves out before the get this far..

But....although it has been mild and sunny with a light breeze there are black clouds building up.

Calm before the Storm comes to mind!

Its brilliant blue sky here in North Bristol - me washings drying wonderfully. I thought weather peeps said it was going to rain today - they got that wrong.

Lets hope the winds blow themselves out over the water.

Just seen the satellite picture on the weather report...it's huge, it's not going to blow itself out before it hits land thats for sure.

Very sunny in Worcestershire at the moment. Hardly any wind, a few dark clouds are appearing.
Will have to wait and see if the Met office has it right. Keep safe everyone.
