As you know I have not long had an op and still have a large dressing on the wound which is still stitched and has to be kept dry. |

Stand in bath, unhook shower head and hose from attachment, lean forward a bit with head forward and down a bit, and wet your hair, turn off water, shampoo hair and repeat first part with shower attachment again till well rinsed. |

hi ann i know it may look daft but why don't you cut holes in the bottom and sides of the binbag to go over your head and put your arms thru at least it will keep you dry xxx |

Ros, yes that would be the simple way wouldn't it? The first dressing I had the hospital put waterproof over the ordinary one, not sure if I have seen the waterproof ones at the chemist and not really up to shopping yet. |

Debbs, i think it might pull too much on the stitches when I came to stand up, I have a problem normally as I have a bad back. |

Ann, most hairdressers now have an option of basins, so could you possible manage to lean back and have it washed, bless, I wish I could come and do it for you, although if I had to style it, Goodness help you, that is my treat of the week, getting my hair washed and dried, only £8 so I think I work hard enough to deserve it, hopefully you could manage a lay back washXX hope you find a solutionXX |

Ann you wrap it right round. I had an op in Oct not there bit an equally akward part and showered by using those menoline plaster type things then wraped cling film right round my body. |
