Bro has a big one on his back.

I'd never have a real one but have played with jagua which is a bit like henna only black rather than reddish brown. Lasted a couple of weeks which suits me fine :-)

My son keeps talking about having a big tattoo done and I keep putting him off. O.h.'s son has loads now, been spending the money his dad sent to help him out in the States, on tattoos instead of food and hasn't got a job yet either.
I don't think I would have the courage to have one, can't see the point of having something done that isn't necessary but painful.
I played a trick on o.h. on my 40th, went to my party with a black rose on my shoulder. He kept saying, didn't it hurt? he didn't even notice it wasn't red or sore and everyone else was in on the secret except him, lol Later I scrubbed it off lol, was only a transfer but that was ok for me lol

Muffy, you've hit the nail on the head! I was very rebellious on my 18th birthday.... I had my ears pierced a second time lol!

i had mine just above me ankle and it DID NOT HURT at all

Mandy don't know if it's the same for you but......a part of me likes to feel a bit *edgy* and fancies having one but the other part of me thinks......*mmmmmm don't think it's quite me* they are doing battle at the mo lol.xx

David had his new girlfriend's name tattooed and she was really cross when she found out lol!

I'd quite like a tiny dolphin or butterfly on my shoulder but I haven't convinced myself completely yet.

Muffy if it helps at all it DOES HURT. I cried having mine done.

I have 2 tattoos, one a cat (big surprise lol), one a dolphin.

Did any of you see Corrie tonight? Can't think of his name, but the lad who is David's friend, they went for a tattoo together, and the lad was showing his tattoo to his Dad in the Rovers. They were all puzzled because they couldn't tell what it was and it wasn't central either. He was having 'England' tattooed and it hurt so much he only got the first letter done and was going back for the rest later :-))))
