None cos I cant drive. A nervous wreck in the driving seat, me. Husband drives for a living, not so long ago he drove from Warwick to Scotland and back - in a day! |

Ours was an Austin 6 - £12 bought between my OH and his conductor on the buses we were to share alternate weekends. it had no front passenger seat and after a few months friend couldn't afford to run it and we bought him out this was back inthe late fifties when petrol was two and six pence a gallon but wages were very small. often have a laugh about it now. had plenty of old bangers afterwards until we got on Motability. |
