Carol, I like many others cannot find the words to help you, we both know, being a Mother who has lost a child, has changed us and we will never be the same again, and I have no wonderful solutions of how we cope, but we seem to, some days better than others, some nights longer than others, I like you will never ever forget, or even except that what is done is done, but I know from my almost two years without Stephen, the kind poeple on these boards are always there for anybody that needs them, like they are for you now, because they care and they understand, maybe not what you feel but that you need love and compassion. I can honestly put my hands on my heart and say that it is those thoughful people who have saved my sanity on many more than one occassion, I wish you Peace Carol, even if only you find this for a little while each day, it is a release and a Godsend. Gwen and to all you lovely peeps out there, I couldn’t let this pass and not write a note to say how I am feeling but words in this case are not flowing. Instead as Gwen says tears are but those tears are my way of coping, there are many on this board who know the loss of a child and I like them have to work my way back and I will. I know you are all thinking of me and find it difficult to express thoughts, I do too. It is enough to say I know I can find someone in the night to call as I have done when I am at my worst because of all the pms I have had with numbers.
Gwen I did not know you were going to put a thread up but I thank you friend, I know you feel my pain and this is your way of saying that you share and feel the hurt with me. I am so sorry as I know you are in your own way grieving too even if you have not realised it, as any friend does for a friend.
What more is there to say to friends….no words/threads are necessary just hugs and support, that’s what I need and what all you caring peeps give so lovingly.
