I hope their relationship lasts as long as my friends. They have an age difference of 19 years and when they got together I gave them 6 months tops. |

Maggy, I remember your thread very well and how upset and concerned you were. I am so happy that things have worked out for them. Love to hear of happy endings:-) BC XX |

Good for them, I hope they will be very happy, and good for you for standing back and letting them find their way. Now you will always be close to them and not have any unpleasantness hanging over your relationship with your daughter. |

Uggers, I decided in the end that the best thing to do was step back and let them get on with it! He treats her right and makes her happy, what more could I ask for? |

Juliecat, I was concerned because he was also married (but seperated) and had an 8 year old son. He had been my daughter's boss for 18 months and she had been his shoulder to cry on when his wife left him for someone else (for the 3rd time!). I eventually decided that the only thing I didn't like about him was his age, and he couldn't change that. |

Maggy, my partner is a good bit older than me and I spose my parents were a bit taken back to start with but we've been together for 14 years - and as you now know it can be cool:) |
