You may not like the Red Lobster restaurant either if you have verigo. They have glass lifts too.
Saturday morning will soon be here and you'll be on your way.

After 2 days of pestering my OH he has given in.
I can start the packing tonight ( when all said and done we fly on Saturday ) dont want to leave thing to the last minute.

Oh and he has had to cancel our special dinner of the holiday, which was at "The View Resturant" in Marriiott Marquis Hotel, it is a revolving resturant overlooking Times Square. How cool is that!
We have had to cancel as I have vertigo ( mild) and the only lifts to the resturant are all glass going up the side of the building and I wouldnt even be able to get in the lift on the ground. I am really cheesed off
He is trying to passify me by letting me pack and talking about "Hard Rock Cafe " very good but hardly in the same league

We shall see, but one thing is for sure I am not getting in that lift

Christina.
Friends of mine stayed at the Milford and said it was OK. Lets face it you'll only use the hotel as a base anyway so as long as the bed is OK doesn't matter. It is the city that never sleeps. LOL

Over the 40 years I have been a Claptonaholic I have lost count of the times I have seen him, from his ver yearly beginings with the Yardbirds, Cream etc. what make me smile now each time i see him, is he performs standing on the same Persian carpet each time, and no other members of the band are allowed to stand to stand on "his" carpet.

This time Chris Stainton is on keyboards and one of the other guitarist is Stevie Winwood ( ex Traffic, Blind Faith and Spencer Daivis Group)

feel I am getting boring to you all now

you will have a great time-I took my OH for his 30th birthday-Ellis Island is a must if you love family history-was my fav part of the trip.Although times square is great, there's just too many things to do.

We stayed at the Waldorf-and they have a a brill restraunt called The Bull and Bear-you don't have to stay to eat there-but you do need to book- the steaks are to die for best I have ever had.
Hope you have a good time

My hubby hated his time there. He akined it to Blackpool. But he is hard to please. Needless to say he's coming with us again and has been warned to behave. Too long a story to go into here. Suffice to say he nearly got arrested at the airport in France. We didn't go direct that time good job too as he definitley wouldn't have got in JFK with the multi tool he had in his hand luggage. I can laugh about it now but was fuming at the time.
Ann - Could be and if you go for a drink perhaps you'll get lucky.

If you are young at heart and enjoy rock music go to the Hard Rock Cafe on Times Square too. It's a bit noisy but the food is lovely. The portion sizes are huge in any of the restaurants so cheap to share.
Promise I won't get too carried away tonight and make you dizzy. LOL
