We don't have any honey :-( I'm all snuggled up in bed...thanks to my laptop lol.

Am now going for a nap before my next anti-b is due.

hope you feel better soon, have a nice spoonful of honey (very soothing). Lie on the sofa with a blanket, have a good rest, you'll be back to normal in no time.

lmao nah... not man flu LD, I'm not *dying* lol. Just the rubbish immune system that I have. Dunno where I got it from, I thought nephew but he hasn't had sore throat. Now dad seems to be coming down with it, but he can fight these things off in a couple of days... he has some weird superhuman immune blaster or something lol. Killer T-cells bwahahhahha

I feel worse today than I did yesterday. Y'know I'm sick when I'm in bed before 10pm lol. But then had to get up to take meds at 11.30pm. I woke every hour or so during the night... not to mention having to get up at 5.30 to take anti-b's. I hate being ill, I sleep even worse than usual.

Feel like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards...repeatedly.

Caz, they do forget, you're right. Apparently he's had a cyst in his chest before (news to me, they didn't tell me sod all while I was away at uni...just like when he had the meningitis scare -- they didn't tell me until a week after he was out of hospital coz they didn't want me to worry *growls*). I really need to get my risk assessment form done now, I've put it off for three years.

thanks for your continued well wishes.

Caz, thanks, I hope I'm well enough for it. I have this gargle stuff but I don't like how it numbs my tongue...can't drink me tea with it for fear of burning my mouth lol... will do it just before bed ;-)

I'm proud of myself, just found a flask and made myself a nice cuppa.

The day just took a turn for the yuckier though as bro just popped in... he has to see oncologist because he found a lump in his breast. Mum had breast cancer 3 years ago and because of that family history the doc's not taking any chances even though it's probably nothing. His wife just found out she had an abnormal smear and has to see gynae.

What a blinky day *sighs and hugs the stuffin outta everyone.

Strep throat is horrid, my little lad was really poorly with it in October, he was in hospital, then we all caught it.

Take care hun, gargling is good.

Liz, those yogourts will still be ok tomorrow, don't eat all of them today as you might be glad of one to slither down your poor throat later.
The z and p (not the Gaviscon lol) are for sucking so the zinc hits the spot and the peppermint soothes, wish I had some I would post them to you.
Hope you get your soup soon, maybe you need to ask for a flask to be left for you so you don't have to struggle downstairs if you don't feel like it. Get well soon.
