I'm being selfish for once and asking for your get well wishes for myself.

I have bad strep throat and I feel lousy...I don't even have much available on TV to watch...only 3 channels are working due to broken aerial. I've got me some antibiotics so hopefully they will knock it on the head, but the FM gives me such a dodgy immune system last time it took a month to get rid of.

hugs are more than welcome and I promise not to pass it on.

Thanks everyone, my tea making service has gone stripping.......wallpaper lol. So I'm all on my own. Trying to drink lots but the effort of getting up and going downstairs is really draining.

Lisa, we do not have a virus at this facility, this facility is incapable of passing viruses, perhaps you should check your cookies. PMSL, I couldn't resist that... imagine if Doctors took the same approach as GR did?! Mmm cookies, one thing I can't eat when like this as the crumbs are so damn irritating.

Fortunately it's bacterial rather than viral so it's easier treated...or that's the theory lol.

Ohhh BC... an ickle moosey. Reminds me of the Eddie Izzard sketch where he does the washing your hands thing/mouse running over them. Very funny should watch that again.

A few months? *Eyes so wide they fall out!* pml...I think I'd go bonkers lol. We have a man-who-can but he currently doesn't have his roof ladder to get up there and do it. The wind keeps catching it and blowing it in the wrong direction, so sometimes I have three channels and sometimes I have 5 lol, unfortunately I can't get two of the channels where my fave progs are on. *pouts*

Janice, I agree, some summer would be lovely. We didn't have one last year lol.

Hi Liz, sorry you are feeling rough, know what its like. Can you get one of your staff to get you some zinc and peppermint tablets from a healthfood place - they really work and ease the soreness.

Oooh Stray, lovely cuppa, thanks...thought I was gonna have to get out of me sick bed and make me own. lol.

Get well soon - I used to suffer terribly with tonsilitis and it's really miserable. Hope the anti-biotics don't make you feel groggy - I find that live yogurt helps (if you like yogurt of course) - lovely and cool and slips down easily!

it is really miserable Sheila, I don't feel like doing anything and last night I went to bed at just gone 12...which is shocking. lol. I woke up about 15 times during the night though, was awful. Had to get up at 8 to call docs and then talk to him when he called at 10...and because there was no one else available had to drag myself outta bed and down to the surgery to pick up the prescription. Got back, took first pill and crawled back into bed. lol.

He gave me the hard hitting version of the stuff that I usually have so if that doesn't do it I'll be stuffed. Meant to be meeting Cazzles on Monday too. :-( have to be better for that!

I have some yoghurts left that were on special but they all have to be eaten today o.O
