Hi SS

Do you still have access to the scales you were using before? It would be interesting to see what you weighed on them.

Digital scales can be quite tempremental. I can move mine to 3 different places inside a minute and it gives me 3 different weights. But I find the hallway just outside the front room door usually gives a favourable reading! lol

As long as the weight keeps going down, that's the main!

Jean, well done. :-))

I have new scales, so I'm not sure how accurate it is the amount of weight it works out that I've lost.

Start= 11st 2lb
Wk 1= 10st 13lb
Wk 2= 10st 8lb
Wk 3= 10st 8lb
Wk 4= 10st 1lb

According to the new scales I've lost 7lbs this week. However I'm not so sure of this as I don't feel that much thinner. I think it's probably only a couple in reality and the last reading was out.

Either that or I have scales that are designed to make you feel skinny lol.

I'm not sure how to test their accuracy, any ideas?

Liz

YAY Jax, that's great.

I must admit, I feel skinnier... I swear my bra is looser and so are my trousers.

Today I bought myself some digital scales, they only have lbs or kgs so I'll have to do the conversion into stones or convert all my previous weights into lbs or kgs.

Almost looking forward to the morning weigh in now lol.

To those who haven't lost, don't get down-hearted, remember it's a new week and take each day as it comes.

To those who are hungry all the time. Try drinking a large glass of water before a meal. If you're still hungry after eating, you really should speak to your doctor. There maybe something going on, if you're on meds it could be a sideaffect.

I liked the snack ideas given, they're a great idea.

I don't weigh in until Monday, thinking of getting some new scales tomorrow as the ones I'm using are older than me. They're accurate but it's hard to tell between one pound and the next so if you lose half a pound you wouldn't tell. Off to argos to look.

Hi peeps!

I've lost 1 and a half pounds so far this week (weigh in Monday) but there's still the weekend to go yet. I got myself some new jeans in town the other day so I can't eat too much or I won't get them on tomorrow night! lol

To those that have put weight on this week....don't worry too much about it. We all have bad weeks and it is harder to be good when the weather is so cold and miserable.

Board at work....how about these snack ideas? A handful of carrot sticks dipped in a tablespoon of low fat humus. Or any 2 medium pieces of fruit (such as apple, pear or peach) sliced and topped with 4oz low fat cottage cheese. Or a salad of 1 sliced apple and 100g cooked beetroot topped with2oz of low fat feta or mozzarella.
